Study Opportunities

Sunday Church School

The Sunday Church School program at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about their Orthodox Faith. The Sunday Church School staff is dedicated and enthusiastic about this wonderful ministry to our children.

Adult Study

Adult Study meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.  The study begins with Vespers at 6 pm followed by pot-luck dinner and Bible Study. The studies vary from year to year.  Studies include examining the lessons of Scripture as well as focusing on and examining specific texts related to the Orthodox Faith.  You may begin attending Bible Study at any time during the year.

Orthodoxy 101

Orthodoxy 101 sessions are offered in the fall and the spring.  They are taught by Father Larry Legakis and are great for those interested in Orthodoxy and those wanting to learn more about their own faith.
